C25k

I'm trying to prepare myself to run (probably more like a slow jog, but whatever) a 5k. My best friend and I have talked about this in the past, but this year she is holding me to it! We're planning to do the CARE 5k & 10k Run & Walk in Waukee on May 1. I have a little over 3 months before the big day. I have started the C25k (couch to 5k) running program. Today is week 2, day 2. I can't wait for the weather to get better so I can start running outside. I'm getting very sick of the treadmill already! I don't mind running as much as I thought I would.

I've been doing ok on watching what I eat. I've done a lot better this past week. I'm trying to plan everything out in advance and put it in my tracker. I have also been doing the Biggest Loser 30 Day Jumpstart DVD. It's a 10 minute workout that I am doing every morning. I'm on day 3. So far so good.

This blog should have a like button! :) I'm so glad to hear you don't mind running, you will start to like it more and more as you get going. Stick with it, we will kick this 5K in the butt!
